Aqualyx is an injectable solution that dissolves small pockets of unwanted fat. It’s primarily intended to treat a double chins and smaller areas of resistant fat.

Typically, two treatments are required for each area being treated and patients report good tolerance of the treatment.

The treatment can be repeated between two and eight times depending on the number of small pockets of fat tissue to be reduced. Repeat interval every three to four weeks.

After each treatment you can expect some swelling, redness and skin irritation and tenderness in the area treated, which will subside after four to six days.

There has been considerable hype about Lemon bottle but we consider Aqualyx is more effective and has more evidence behind it. We urge considerable caution with Lemon bottle and counterfeit Aqualyx

What happens during an Aqualyx treatment?

Before treatment, you’ll be given a local anaesthetic, such as lidocaine, to minimize discomfort. Then your provider will make a series of injections—Paul uses a cannula , its safer and quicker. Some people describe the treatment as uncomfortable, but it is usually fine .

Afterward, you can expect swelling, tenderness, or light bruising. These side effects typically resolve within a few days to a week. The swelling can be noticeable, especially under the chin where it’s harder to hide, but you can expect to return to your daily routine quickly. If your face or neck was treated, avoid makeup and use only a gentle cleanser for at least 12 hours, to prevent further irritation.

Once the fat cells have been liquefied, your body will metabolize and eliminate them.

How many Aqualyx treatments do most people need?

The treatment, sometimes called Aqualysis or Aquaplasty, takes 30 to 60 minutes per session, and you’ll likely need multiple sessions to see noticeable fat reduction. The number of recommended sessions typically depends on the area being treated. While small fat pockets on the neck or chin may require only two or three sessions, larger areas, like the thighs, may require up to eight.
